Petra Matthews-Crow is an artist/teacher living in Dover. She has been key to many initiatives, in partnership with DAD, involving young people. In 2019 she co-founded Ceramic Art Dover (CAD), an intergenerational group of East Kent ceramicists who are passionate about and keen to share their love for clay with the local community. Petra also co-founded Dover Creative Network (DCN), bringing together each month representatives from Dover’s creative community as well as cultural and creative organisations, to share and support the wonderful creative events that happen in Dover.  She is a member of the Dover Big Local Executive Committee and in that role leads on arts and culture. Since 2020 Petra has developed a love for open water swimming and has become familiar with the culture and reputation of Dover as the home of open water swimming.
