Carole Day
Carole Day completed her MA in Fine Art at The University for the Creative Arts, Canterbury in 2014. She created sculptures and facilitated community installation projects using natural materials such as pebbles, flowers, and vegetation. She is also interested in printmaking, drawing in all media, and working with textiles; her current work incorporates these with creative writing to explore ideas of heritage, memory, and loss, chronicling her path through time in words and images.
Carol continued to take part in several DAD drawing and stitching projects.
The last one being with two beautiful plates she sewed for DAD’s ‘Threading Together’ project. https://dadonline.uk/updates/12027/
We were very sad to hear of Caroles passing on July 11th 2025 after a 2 year illness.
