Episode #4 of DAD RADIO is the second of 2 episodes showcasing work from the Art in the Park: Kearsney Interpreted project in Kearsney Abbey & Russell Gardens (2018-19).
Artist Katharine Beaugié discusses her River Song event from her residency in Kearsney Abbey in 2018 accompanied by recordings from the performance of cellist Mike Bacon & harpist Rachel Hamilton; this includes extracts from Katharine’s interview with poet Simon Partridge originally broadcast on DCR.
Also, a conversation about gardens between Clare Smith & Josie Harding from the film ‘Watercress & Daffodils’, and further excerpts from the Park Bench soundtrack by Richard Bundy. DAD RADIO co-curator Louise Webb we discusses her work ‘Stretches of earth shared, exchanged, and collected’ and we share the audio track from ‘Nature’s Guardian’, a mixed media animation Phil Saunders.
