Anna Phoebe
ANNA PHOEBE is a violinist and composer working on cross-genre solo and collaborative projects, a broadcaster with a show on Soho Radio, and a Board Director at the Ivors Academy. She has toured the world’s most prestigious arenas and venues with the likes of Roxy Music and Jethro Tull, and she recently returned from a 27-date tour of UK arenas as a guest artist for Young Voices and launched the Tate Britain’s 2023 rehang with an exclusive live performance with DJ Mary Anne Hobbs. In 2021, she featured as a guest soloist on Jools Holland’s album Pianola. Anna’s solo releases, including recent albums Sea Souls and Sea Souls (live), have received critical acclaim and extensive radio support across BBC Radio 6 Music, BBC Radio 3, and Scala Radio.
Anna is an award-winning composer, having scored widely for film, TV, radio, and dance. She most recently wrote the music for ITV’s two-part Wear the Rose documentary about the England team’s journey to the 2022 Women’s Rugby World Cup. Her music has featured in BT Sport’s television coverage of the 2022 UEFA Champions League, as well as campaigns for Apple, Zegna, and the World Wildlife Fund.
Anna’s recent collaborations include responses to scientific research by Cancer Research UK and the European Space Agency. Her instrumental duo AVAWAVES is signed to One Little Independent Records, the home of Björk and Skunk Anansie.
