Dover Residency

Dover Arts Development (DAD) and F.A.T. Studio cic have joined together to offer an artist residency opportunity in Dover.

F.A.T is a not-for-profit creative organisation operating out of South London.

Joanna Jones of DAD and Rachel Sale of F.A.T are pooling their expertise and contacts to develop the Dover Residency programme together.

The Residency is an opportunity for artists of all ages to take a step away from their normal work contexts and use the time and the space to rest, reflect, roam, explore new ideas, connect with people and leave something in this beautiful town.

Each residency, maximum 3 weeks, is by invitation. In exchange for their residency, visiting artists are encouraged to contribute something to Dover. What this might be is completely up to the artist, it could be a talk, walk, performance, workshop, meal, exhibition. The resident will be supported in making connections to people, venues and places in Dover to realise their contribution.
