Special showings of short films on the BBC Big Screen

On Saturday 16 October, all 7 of the films made as part of the Make a Film workshop were shown on the BBC Big Screen in Dover’s Market Square. Jade, Kirsty and Justin were all there with their parents and friends and were absolutely chuffed to see their work on show to an audience of about 60 people over the hour’s screening. As Justin said “It’s good to have the films on the Big Screen”. The films were shown on a loop together with two “Watermark teasers” between 1 and 2pm. “Teasers” is the name given to the 2-minute films to awaken interest in the documentary DAD is producing about Buckland Mill.

Those in the Market square were invited to post comments about the films on ihe Boxmein blog. The blog is open for all to visit and comment on the films which will be screened at random times once a day for a year.
