Korinna Returns to Dover

Artist Korinna McRobert returned to Dover to present her new work, Asha. Since her film ReFraming that she edited in Dover during her one-month residency and internship with Dover Arts Development in July 2012, as part of DAD’s WAR & PEACE Programme, she was granted an Arts Council England grant to do a solo project on one of the first white women to protest against apartheid in 1940s South Africa. Asha was performed at the Louis Armstrong Pub, 58 Maison Dieu Rd, Dover CT16 1RA on the 27th August.

For this performance she teamed up with Dover-based flautist, Paul Cheneour, and they have continued to perform the work together at other venues. Poster designed by Edda Jones.
