Exciting upcoming events

We are thrilled to announce two upcoming events, both of which build on events that took place under our War & Peace programme.

First up, on 2 March from 2-4pm, is Keep Going: a second music, poetry and visual art salon presented by Peter Sheppard Skӕrved – Violin – & Malene Skӕrved – poet – in response to ‘Thread, Paper, Cloth’, an artist’s collaboration between Rosie James and Clare Smith, comprising New writing by Malene Skӕrved, New Music by Sadie Harrison, Michael Alec Rose, And works by Philip Glass, Nigel Clarke and Heinrich Biber. The concert offers a rare opportunity to witness a performance of Philip Glass’s genre-busting early work, ‘Strung Out’, written shortly after his return from India in 1963; a work intended for a gallery, for walking violinist.
