Threading Together

I chose Noodles as they are an integral part of Chinese life, symbolising luck and an important part of celebration. They also evoke memories of eating noodles for breakfast at my Aunt’s house when I was 12, a cuisine I associate with Malaysia just as much as the symbolic importance to the Chinese, the combination of which defines my own heritage as I was born in Penang, to a Chinese Mother raised in Malaysia.
