Bim Malcolmson
Bim Malcomson is a choreographer, teacher and mentor. She deconstructs Ballet and then reconstructs it, in innovative new ways. Whether working with individuals, large groups, in educational settings or choreographing a new piece, she works with people of all ages and identities, using meticulous and playful exploration to break new ground. Bim’s alchemy of the classical and the innovative, and her ambition for everyone she works with, breeds unafraid creativity.
Her work sees her in the Royal Opera House, London Bus Stops, Bulgarian orphanages and on the BBC. Bim has worked for over 20 years in Britain’s leading dance organisations: currently at the Royal Opera House, Central School of Ballet, 13 years at the Royal Ballet School and Trinity Laban.
