Gabor Stark’s sculpture project for East Kent Railway

Gabor Stark has been researching the lines and traces in the landscape left by the East Kent Railway and the role of the Railway during WW1. He is proposing a series of sculptures making “use of the expertise and metalworking skills of the EKR community for the construction of the artefacts (should they like the idea). and a series of “walks along and beyond the remaining tracks – potentially in conjunction with the already existing East Kent Coalfields and Miners’ Trail heritage walks.”

Thus far there are six entries:

01 – Walking the line
02 – Glimpses of the past
03 – Traces in the landscape
04 – EKR in WW1 & WW2
05 – Pioneers
06 – The friendly army
