Tomas Poblete
Tomas Poblete is a Chilean born multi-disciplinary artist and independent curator based in the UK (b.1976). He is co-founder of CT20, and now a Dover resident. As an independent curator Tomás has produced exhibitions with artists David Thorp (uk), Patrick Coutu (Canada), Thomas Lélu (France) and Littlewhitehead (Scotland) amongst others. In his former role at CT20 he co-produced works by Duncan Marquiss (Scotland), Sean Griffiths (uk), Andrew Holmes (uk) , Stefan Brüggeman, David Batchelor (UK), Jaša (Slovenia) and helped develop numerous public facing projects both in the UK and Internationally . Tomas has exhibited his work in Scotland , Beijing , the Middle East and most recently at the Turner Contemporary Gallery in Margate, and together with Alexander James Pollard was artist in residence at ‘La Plate-Forme Laboratoire D’art Contemporaine in Dunkirk.
