M.ARCH master of architecture students visit the urban room
The DOVER Urban Room
M.ARCH Master of architecture (ARB/RIBA Part 2) 32 students from the University of the Creative Arts Canterbury, School of Architecture and Design, piled into the Urban room with their tutors Gabor Stark and Charles Holland. They had all spent the day in Dover meeting with Future Foundry with whom they would exchange knowledge over a series of workshops later in the week, visiting Dover Castle and the White Cliffs and at the end of a day visiting DAD director Joanna Jones and the DAD Urban room.

For their first design project of the academic year the Master of Architecture course participated in the Dover Arts Development Festival You can reach the world from Dover 2023. Collaborating with the Dover-based social enterprise Future Foundry, students together with local families designed and built portable lighthouses for the lantern parade along Dover seafront meeting at dusk on Sunday 8 October 2023.
