Design and Build: Architecture project in the DAD studio
OSO Studio Space
Following on from the photo shoot in February by Dover photographer Matt Bristow, the studio is going to be home to a new project led by Rhea Shepherd and Lawrence Sherwood, Graduate Diploma architecture students from the Canterbury School of Architecture at UCA.
Objective: to design and create a unique installation which is adaptable within the studio
They plan to produce a ‘cubic space’ to fit within the existing steel columns in the studio, which will house a projection area on the interior while the outer shell can have a secondary use such as storage, artist workspace etc. They will be running two ‘Design and Build’ workshops, open to all those who attend the apprenticeship schemes within the Charlton Green studio, as well as Clare and Joanna at DAD and users of the studio space.
